Delta Gamma

Letter from Recruitment Chair

Dear Potential New Member,

On behalf of the Delta Gamma Eta Eta chapter I would like to say we are so excited that you are interested in Greek Life on the Hill. My name is Nora Brooks, and I am a junior from St. Louis, MO. It seems like just yesterday I was going through recruitment, but time flies when you are having fun. Being ten hours away from home, these girls are more than just my sorority sisters; they are truly like a family to me.

The woman of Eta Eta come from diverse backgrounds and we all have different interests, but there is one thing we all have in common: our sisterhood. Delta Gamma was founded in 1873 in Oxford, Mississippi, and established at Spring Hill in 2001. As women of Delta Gamma, we strive to live by our motto and “Do Good” in all that we do, whether it be in the classroom, athletics, or other extra curricular activities. Among all of our passions is service, especially Service for Sight, our philanthropy. Throughout the year, we host Stomp the Hill and Anchor Splash, as well as participate in other opportunities to give back locally and globally.

Eta Eta offers a unique experience for each member revolving around our core values of sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, and service. While our time together on the Hill might only last a short four years, the friendships made, bonds shared, and lessons learned last a lifetime.

We can’t wait to show you our sisterhood!

ITB,
Nora
